County – Blackpool

Elevation - 34m

Date – 2 July 2022

Distance – 0.2km

Elevation Climbed - 4m

Status – 57th highest Unitary Authority top

There's something vaguely amusing about a 34m high CT counting the same as Ben Nevis.

I was delighted to be joined on this particular adventure by Nelly (who I conquered Kinder Scout with back in September) and Dan (who will be joining me on future efforts, I hope, as he's a renowned Ultra Marathon runner).

Nursing slight hangovers, and on our way to Fleetwood for a weekend's sailing, we managed to call in to Warbreck Hill, Blackpool's highest point. Unlike many summits - craggy, windswept etc - this is a small park, complete with bowling green, playground etc.

We were able to find the peak and Nelly posed for the obligatory picture. SMASHED IT.
